- Dill pickles (or any pickles of choice)
- 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 egg
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Slice the pickles if they are whole and pat them dry.
- In one bowl, mix cornmeal, flour, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, beat an egg.
- In a third bowl, place bread crumbs.
- Dip each pickle slice first into the flour mixture, then into the egg, and finally into the bread crumbs.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Arrange the coated pickles in the air fryer basket in a single layer and spray with cooking spray.
- Cook for about 10-12 minutes or until crispy, flipping halfway through.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
Pat the pickles dry for better coating adherence. Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket.
