  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. Cut the string cheese sticks in half.
  2. Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with bread crumbs mixed with Italian seasoning and salt.
  3. Dip each cheese stick half in flour, then in the egg, and finally in the bread crumb mixture, ensuring it is well-coated.
  4. Place the coated cheese sticks in the freezer for about 30 minutes to firm up.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C).
  6. Spray the basket with olive oil and arrange the frozen mozzarella sticks in a single layer.
  7. Spray the tops lightly with olive oil.
  8. Air fry for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  9. Serve immediately with marinara sauce for dipping.
