- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1 lime (juiced)
- 1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Rub the Cajun seasoning and olive oil over the salmon fillets.
- Bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes or until cooked through.
- While the salmon is baking, prepare the sauce: In a bowl, mash the avocado and mix in lime juice, sour cream, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Once the salmon is done, remove it from the oven and top it with the creamy avocado lime sauce.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
Feel free to adjust the spice level and use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream if preferred. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to two days.
