A quick and easy homemade Blueberry Bread that is loved by the whole family, perfect for breakfast or snacks.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 to 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • Optional: glaze (powdered sugar and milk for drenching)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the blueberries.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack. If desired, drizzle with glaze before serving.

Notes
