- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 to 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
- Optional: glaze (powdered sugar and milk for drenching)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Gently fold in the blueberries.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack. If desired, drizzle with glaze before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days, or freeze for up to three months.
