A fresh and creamy dip made with soft cheese, tomatoes, and basil, perfect for snacks and gatherings.

  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 6.5 oz Alouette Cheese with herbs (or other soft cheese spread like Boursin)
  • ½ cup tomatoes, chopped
  • ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinaigrette glaze or reduction
  • Pita chips, crackers, or thinly sliced baguette

Instructions

  1. Spread the soft cheese evenly over the center of a large plate or small platter, leaving a ¼ inch edge clean.
  2. Evenly sprinkle and spread the chopped tomatoes over the cheese, then add the chopped basil.
  3. Drizzle the balsamic glaze back and forth over the plate.
  4. Serve with pita chips, crackers, or spread on thin slices of baguette.

Notes

For best flavor, use ripe tomatoes. Let cheese sit at room temperature for easy spreading.
