- 1 6.5 oz Alouette Cheese with herbs (or other soft cheese spread like Boursin)
- ½ cup tomatoes, chopped
- ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinaigrette glaze or reduction
- Pita chips, crackers, or thinly sliced baguette
Instructions
- Spread the soft cheese evenly over the center of a large plate or small platter, leaving a ¼ inch edge clean.
- Evenly sprinkle and spread the chopped tomatoes over the cheese, then add the chopped basil.
- Drizzle the balsamic glaze back and forth over the plate.
- Serve with pita chips, crackers, or spread on thin slices of baguette.
Notes
For best flavor, use ripe tomatoes. Let cheese sit at room temperature for easy spreading.
