Cajun Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo is a bold, creamy, 30-minute pasta dish packed with seared Cajun shrimp and silky homemade Alfredo sauce.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

8 oz fettuccine pasta

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 tbsp Cajun seasoning

2 tbsp butter

1 tbsp olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Cook fettuccine pasta until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup pasta water.

2. Toss shrimp with Cajun seasoning and set aside.

3. In a large skillet, melt butter and olive oil over medium heat. Sear shrimp 2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

4. In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Add cream and bring to a simmer.

5. Stir in Parmesan cheese and whisk until smooth.

6. Add cooked fettuccine and toss to coat. Add pasta water if needed to loosen.

7. Gently fold in cooked shrimp. Season with salt and pepper.

8. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Use freshly grated cheese for best melt.

Adjust Cajun spice to your heat preference.

Do not overcook shrimp or it will become rubbery.
