Ingredients
1 lb ground beef (85/15 or 90/10)
1 egg
1/2 cup breadcrumbs (plain or Italian)
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
4 oz sharp cheddar cheese, cut into ½-inch cubes
Cooking spray or olive oil for greasing
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet or grease a mini muffin tin.
In a bowl, mix ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, onion, ketchup, Worcestershire, garlic and onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Take 2 tbsp of mixture, flatten slightly, and place a cube of cheese in the center. Shape into a ball.
Place on the baking sheet or muffin tin.
(Optional) Brush each with ketchup and brown sugar glaze.
Bake for 15–18 minutes or until cooked through and cheese is melted inside.
Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Use mozzarella or pepper jack for variation.
Air fry at 375°F for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway.
Freeze after baking for up to 2 months.
