Ingredients
3 cups cooked, shredded chicken
1 (28 oz) bag frozen tater tots
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
¾ cup sour cream
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: crumbled bacon, green onions
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
2. In a bowl, mix chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, 1 cup of cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
3. Spread mixture evenly in baking dish.
4. Top with frozen tater tots in a single layer.
5. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
6. Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes until golden and bubbly.
7. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
Reheat in oven or toaster oven to maintain crispiness.
Add green onions or bacon before serving for extra flavor.
