Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh cherries, pitted
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cups brewed tea (black or green)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Ice
  • Mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the pitted cherries and sugar, and blend until smooth.
  2. In a large pitcher, mix the brewed tea, cherry puree, and vanilla extract.
  3. Stir well and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to chill.
  4. Serve over ice and garnish with mint leaves if desired.

Notes

Store any leftover iced tea in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Add more brewed tea if it gets too sweet.
