- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 large eggs
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease ramekins with butter and dust with flour.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and chocolate chips together, stirring until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, egg yolks, and sugar until thickened.
- Stir in the melted chocolate mixture, vanilla, and salt.
- Add the flour and mix until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared ramekins.
- Bake for about 12-14 minutes until the edges are firm, and the center is soft.
- Allow to cool for 1 minute, then invert onto a plate and serve immediately.
Notes
Serve with powdered sugar, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, or fresh berries for a fun twist. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
