Cinnamon Sugar Blondies

Soft, chewy cinnamon sugar blondies topped with a crackly cinnamon sugar crust. Made with simple pantry ingredients in one bowl.

Ingredients

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 cup brown sugar

1 egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 tsp salt

2 tbsp sugar (for topping)

1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (for topping)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8 inch pan with parchment paper.

2. In a bowl, whisk together melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.

3. Add egg and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.

4. Stir in flour and salt. Do not overmix.

5. Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.

6. Mix cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl. Sprinkle over the batter.

7. Bake for 22–25 minutes until center is set and edges are golden.

8. Let cool completely before slicing into squares.

Notes

Store blondies in an airtight container for up to 4 days.

You can freeze individually wrapped blondies for up to 2 months.

Optional add-ins: white chocolate chips, chopped pecans, or maple glaze.
