Ingredients
Scale
- 4 chicken breasts
- 2 cups cornflakes, crushed
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk the eggs.
- In a third bowl, place the crushed cornflakes.
- Dip each chicken breast in the flour mixture, then the eggs, and finally coat with cornflakes.
- Place the chicken on a greased sheet pan.
- Spray the tops with cooking spray for extra crispiness.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
Notes
Make sure to crush the cornflakes well for an even coating. Dry the chicken breasts with paper towels before coating to help the breading stick better. You can experiment with different spices for the flour mixture.
