Ingredients

  • 2 cups of cheese (cheddar or Velveeta)
  • 1 cup of cream cheese
  • 1 can of diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1 jalapeño, diced
  • 1 pound of sausage or ground beef, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Tortilla chips or veggies for serving

Instructions

  1. In a crockpot, combine the cheese, cream cheese, diced tomatoes, jalapeño, and cooked sausage or ground beef.
  2. Add the garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
  3. Stir everything together until well combined.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 120-180 minutes, stirring occasionally until the cheese is melted and everything is heated through.
  5. Serve warm with tortilla chips or veggies for dipping.

Notes

For a smooth dip, use Velveeta; for more flavor, use cheddar. Keep stirring every 20-30 minutes while it’s cooking.
