1/4 cup all-purpose flour

3 cups chicken broth

1 cup evaporated milk

1/2 cup diced celery

1/2 cup chopped onions

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat.

2. Whisk in flour to form a smooth roux; cook for 1-2 minutes.

3. Slowly add chicken broth, whisking constantly until smooth.

4. Stir in evaporated milk until creamy.

5. Add vegetables and simmer 15 minutes until tender.

6. Add cooked chicken and simmer another 5-10 minutes.

7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
