- 8 oz pasta (your choice)
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
- In the last 3 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets to the pasta water.
- Drain the pasta and broccoli, and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Toss in the drained pasta and broccoli, season with salt and pepper, and mix well.
- Serve warm with grated Parmesan cheese on top.

For a complete meal, consider pairing with grilled chicken or fish. Add lemon juice for extra flavor.
