Ingredients
3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 cup warm milk
2 ¼ tsp instant yeast
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 egg
3 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
¼ cup butter (for garlic topping)
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions
1. In a bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
2. Add warm milk, egg, and melted butter. Mix to form dough.
3. Knead dough on floured surface for 8 minutes.
4. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
5. Punch down, divide into 12 pieces, and roll into balls.
6. Place in a baking dish and let rise for 30 minutes.
7. Meanwhile, melt butter and sauté garlic, add parsley.
8. Brush rolls with half the garlic butter.
9. Bake at 375°F for 18–20 minutes.
10. Brush with remaining garlic butter and serve warm.
Notes
Use fresh garlic for best flavor.
Freeze shaped rolls before second rise if prepping ahead.
Great with soups, pastas, or on its own.
