- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 cup chopped fresh strawberries
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
- 1/2 cup pureed strawberries (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together vegetable oil, milk, and egg.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in chopped strawberries.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- While the bread is baking, prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar, milk, and pureed strawberries until smooth.
- Once the bread is done, let it cool for a few minutes before drizzling the glaze over the top.

Notes
Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days or refrigerate for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze in slices.
