Delicious and festive treats made with Red Velvet Oreos and coated in bright green candy melts, perfect for holiday celebrations.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Red velvet Oreos (22 cookies)
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 7 oz green candy melts
  • Red heart sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a food processor, pulse the Oreo cookies until fine crumbs form.
  3. Add in the cream cheese and mix again until a soft dough forms.
  4. Using a 1 tablespoon measuring spoon, scoop out the dough and roll it between the palms of your hands. Place it on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat this process until you are done.
  5. Chill the truffle balls in the freezer for 30 minutes.
  6. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the candy melts in 30-second increments, mixing after each time. If the candy melts aren’t thin enough to dip, add 1/2 teaspoon of coconut oil or any unflavored oil and mix well.
  7. Use a chocolate dipping fork to dip each truffle ball into the melted candy, coating it evenly. Place it back on the baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining truffles.
  8. Place any leftover candy melts in a piping bag and drizzle it over the truffles. Add a red heart sprinkle on top to create the iconic Grinch heart.
  9. Allow the truffles to set in the fridge for a few minutes, then enjoy!

Notes

Store the truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week or freeze for three months.
