These Halloween Hot Dog Fingers are creepy, easy to make, and always a party favorite. Made with basic hot dogs and a bit of ketchup, they’re perfect for your spooky spread.

  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 8 hot dog fingers 1x

Ingredients

Scale

8 hot dogs

8 hot dog buns (optional)

1/4 cup ketchup

8 slivered almonds or onion slices (optional, for nails)

Instructions

1. Slice a small rectangle at the tip of each hot dog to create a ‘nail bed’.

2. Add three shallow cuts near the middle and end to resemble knuckles.

3. Optional: Press an almond or onion piece into the nail bed.

4. Boil, bake, or grill the hot dogs until cooked through.

5. Place each finger in a bun and add ketchup for ‘blood’.

6. Serve warm and enjoy the screams!

Notes

Make ahead tip: Carve the hot dogs up to one day in advance and store covered in the fridge.

For a plant-based version, use vegan hot dogs and bake instead of boil.
