- 1 cup unsweetened applesauce

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a cake pan.
- In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix together applesauce, honey (or maple syrup), melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until well combined. Fold in the diced apples and optional nuts or raisins.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool before slicing and serving. Enjoy your healthy treat!
