- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup nuts or seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, peanut butter, and honey or maple syrup until well mixed.
- Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts or seeds, if using.
- Press the mixture firmly into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown around the edges.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
Notes
For a vegan option, use maple syrup and vegan chocolate chips. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks in the fridge.
