- 2 slices of bread
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 slices of cheese (e.g., brie or mozzarella)
- 1/4 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice of bread, butter-side down, in the skillet.
- On top, layer the cheese and fresh blueberries. Drizzle with honey if desired.
- Top with the second slice of bread, butter-side up.
- Cook until the bottom slice is golden brown, then flip and cook the other side until the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from heat, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
For a complete meal, serve with tomato soup or a simple salad. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days.
