- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Juice of 2 lemons
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a shallow bowl, mix Parmesan cheese. Dredge each chicken breast in the cheese to coat.
- Heat half the butter in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
- Add chicken breasts and cook until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter and add minced garlic, cooking until fragrant.
- Stir in lemon juice and return the chicken to the skillet.
- Spoon the garlic lemon butter sauce over the chicken.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Season well for better flavor, and consider adding herbs for extra taste.
