Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. In a shallow bowl, mix Parmesan cheese. Dredge each chicken breast in the cheese to coat.
  4. Heat half the butter in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add chicken breasts and cook until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes on each side.
  6. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  7. In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter and add minced garlic, cooking until fragrant.
  8. Stir in lemon juice and return the chicken to the skillet.
  9. Spoon the garlic lemon butter sauce over the chicken.
  10. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  11. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Season well for better flavor, and consider adding herbs for extra taste.
