Ingredients

Scale

4 slices turkey bacon, chopped

1 small yellow onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

4 cups chicken broth (low sodium)

2 pounds potatoes, peeled and cubed

1 cup whole milk

1/2 cup heavy cream

1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Salt and black pepper to taste

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Chopped green onions, for topping

Instructions

1. Cook turkey bacon until crisp, then set aside.

2. In the same pot, sauté onion until soft, then add garlic.

3. Add potatoes and chicken broth. Simmer 15–20 minutes.

4. Mash or blend to desired consistency.

5. Stir in milk, cream, and cheddar until melted.

6. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
