- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 cup matcha green tea powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, matcha, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture alternately with the milk, starting and ending with the flour mixture.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
For serving, pair with fresh fruit, yogurt, or drizzle with chocolate. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
