Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for frying
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Set up a breading station with three shallow bowls: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for a mixture of Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Coat each breast in flour, then dip in the egg, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  5. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  6. Meanwhile, in the same skillet, add heavy cream and garlic. Cook for a few minutes until it thickens slightly.
  7. Serve the chicken topped with the creamy garlic sauce and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

Allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes after cooking for juicier meat. For added flavor, experiment with different herbs in the breadcrumb mixture.
