Ingredients
Scale
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for frying
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Set up a breading station with three shallow bowls: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for a mixture of Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Coat each breast in flour, then dip in the egg, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Meanwhile, in the same skillet, add heavy cream and garlic. Cook for a few minutes until it thickens slightly.
- Serve the chicken topped with the creamy garlic sauce and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
Allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes after cooking for juicier meat. For added flavor, experiment with different herbs in the breadcrumb mixture.
