- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp A-1 sauce
- 1 tsp steak seasoning
- 4 toasted buns
- 8 slices provolone cheese
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
- Add the diced onion and green pepper. Cook until they are soft.
- Stir in beef broth, A-1 sauce, and steak seasoning. Let the mix simmer until hot and slightly thick.
- Toast the buns. Spoon the beef mixture onto each bun.
- Top each sandwich with sliced provolone cheese. Let the cheese melt a little, then serve.
Notes
Drain extra fat from the beef if needed. Use medium heat for proper cooking. Toast buns to avoid sogginess.
