Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Rinse and dry the asparagus, then trim off the thick ends about an inch from the bottom.
- Place the asparagus on the baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Toss to coat.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the asparagus.
- Roast in the oven for about 10 minutes, until fork tender.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with lemon juice and red pepper flakes before serving.
Notes
For an extra kick, add garlic powder. Consider using different cheeses like feta or goat cheese for variation.
