Ingredients

- 1 pound sausage
- 6 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- 4 slices of bread or 2 cups of chopped vegetables (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned; drain excess fat.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- In a greased baking dish, layer the cooked sausage, optional bread or vegetables, and cheese.
- Pour the egg mixture over the layered ingredients.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden.
Notes
Keep a simple baking dish on hand to speed up prep. You can also assemble the night before and refrigerate overnight.
