- 1 package of crescent roll dough
- 1 cup cooked breakfast sausage
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 4 large eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions or herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven according to crescent roll package instructions.
- In a skillet, cook the breakfast sausage until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- In a bowl, whisk the eggs with salt and pepper, then scramble in the skillet until fully cooked.
- Roll out the crescent roll dough on a baking sheet.
- Place a spoonful of cooked sausage and scrambled eggs on each triangle of dough, sprinkle with cheese.
- Roll up each triangle and seal the edges.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Garnish with green onions or herbs if desired. Serve warm.
Notes
Let the eggs cool a little before filling to avoid soggy dough. Brush a little melted butter on top before baking for extra color.
