  • 1 package of crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup cooked breakfast sausage
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 4 large eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions or herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to crescent roll package instructions.
  2. In a skillet, cook the breakfast sausage until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. In a bowl, whisk the eggs with salt and pepper, then scramble in the skillet until fully cooked.
  4. Roll out the crescent roll dough on a baking sheet.
  5. Place a spoonful of cooked sausage and scrambled eggs on each triangle of dough, sprinkle with cheese.
  6. Roll up each triangle and seal the edges.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Garnish with green onions or herbs if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

Let the eggs cool a little before filling to avoid soggy dough. Brush a little melted butter on top before baking for extra color.
