Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into squares.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Place a spoonful of cream cheese mixture in the center of each pastry square, top with sliced strawberries.
- Fold the edges of the pastry over to create a closed shape or leave them open for a rustic look.
- Brush the beaten egg on the pastry edges.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
