Ingredients
3–4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
6–8 slices Swiss cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1½ cups dry stuffing mix or breadcrumbs
4 tbsp melted butter
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. Place chicken breasts in the dish and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
3. Layer Swiss cheese on top of the chicken.
4. Mix cream of chicken soup and sour cream in a bowl. Spread over cheese.
5. In another bowl, mix stuffing mix with melted butter.
6. Sprinkle the stuffing mix over the top evenly.
7. Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes until golden and bubbly.
8. Let rest 5–10 minutes before serving.
Notes
You can use cooked or shredded rotisserie chicken to save time. To freeze: Assemble without topping, wrap tightly, and freeze up to 2 months. For extra flavor, add sautéed onions or mushrooms to the creamy layer.
