Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, browned
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla bean paste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs with browned butter until combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat together cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add sour cream, eggs, vanilla extract, and vanilla bean paste; mix until well combined.
  4. Pour the cheesecake filling over the crust in the springform pan.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes, or until the center is set but slightly jiggly.
  6. Turn off the oven, crack the door, and let the cheesecake cool in the oven for an hour.
  7. Remove from the oven and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  8. Serve chilled and enjoy your luxurious dessert!

Notes

Top each slice with fresh berries or a drizzle of chocolate sauce for extra flair. A dollop of whipped cream also enhances the dessert.
