- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, browned
- 2 cups cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon vanilla bean paste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs with browned butter until combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
- In a large bowl, beat together cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add sour cream, eggs, vanilla extract, and vanilla bean paste; mix until well combined.
- Pour the cheesecake filling over the crust in the springform pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes, or until the center is set but slightly jiggly.
- Turn off the oven, crack the door, and let the cheesecake cool in the oven for an hour.
- Remove from the oven and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- Serve chilled and enjoy your luxurious dessert!
Notes
Top each slice with fresh berries or a drizzle of chocolate sauce for extra flair. A dollop of whipped cream also enhances the dessert.
