Ingredients
Scale
- 2–3 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup chocolate chips (dark or milk)
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional, for melting chocolate)
- Pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Slice the bananas into thin rounds or halves.
- Arrange the banana slices on the parchment paper in a single layer, close together.
- Spread a thin layer of peanut butter over the banana slices.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips with coconut oil (if using) in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Drizzle the melted chocolate evenly over the peanut butter layer.
- Sprinkle with sea salt.
- Freeze for at least 2-3 hours, or until firm. Once frozen, break or cut into bark pieces. Store in an airtight container in the freezer.
Notes
Feel free to substitute peanut butter with almond butter or sunflower seed butter for a nut-free option. Add toppings like chopped nuts or granola for extra crunch.
