- 1 tube crescent rolls
- 1 pound boudin sausage
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or pepper jack)
- 2 tablespoons green onions (optional)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and arrange it in a circle on a baking sheet, overlapping the edges slightly.
- In a bowl, mix the boudin sausage and shredded cheese (and green onions if using).
- Spoon the mixture onto the center of the crescent roll circle.
- Fold the dough over the filling, pressing to seal it well.
- Brush the top with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
Notes
For milder flavor, use cheddar cheese and omit the green onions. You can also add diced bell pepper or jalapeño for extra spice.
