These Prosciutto Wrapped Mozzarella Bites are the perfect no-cook appetizer; salty, creamy, and fancy-looking with minimal effort.

  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 16 bites 1x

Ingredients

Scale

8 slices prosciutto, halved lengthwise

16 mozzarella balls (ciliegine or bocconcini)

16 fresh basil leaves

Toothpicks or mini skewers

Balsamic glaze (optional)

Instructions

1. If your mozzarella balls are large, slice them in half.

2. Tear each prosciutto slice into strips long enough to wrap a mozzarella ball.

3. Layer one basil leaf on each mozzarella ball.

4. Wrap the prosciutto around the mozzarella and basil.

5. Secure with a toothpick or mini skewer.

6. Chill until serving. Drizzle with balsamic glaze just before serving, if desired.

Notes

These bites can be made up to 4 hours ahead. Store in the fridge.

Add cherry tomatoes for a Caprese-style skewer.

Try different cheeses like burrata or marinated feta for variation.
